Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

Valid Driver's License:

• All candidates must possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is necessary for roles that involve driving company vehicles or require travel as part of job responsibilities.
• Candidates are required to provide a copy of their current driver’s license during the application process.

EMT Certification:

• Candidates must hold a valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification (C127). This certification is crucial for positions that involve emergency response and medical assistance.
• Proof of certification must be submitted with the application, and it should be current and recognized by the relevant authorities.

Previous Firefighting Experience:

• Applicants must have documented previous firefighting experience (C129). This experience is vital for roles that require firefighting skills and knowledge of safety protocols.
• Candidates should provide references or documentation that verifies their firefighting experience as part of the application process.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and promptly communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and access-related concerns accurately and report maintenance or security-related issues to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess EMT certification.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess previous firefighting experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
