Strategic Ventures is currently recruiting a Business Analyst to join our team in Arlington, VA, with potential for hybrid work. The Business Analyst will support program operations, process improvement, information management, and executive reporting for a federal customer with a significant international mission. This position will analyze existing processes and information, develop tools and recommendations to improve program execution, and support effective management of engagements, taskings, records, and stakeholder information. 

The Business Analyst will:

• Analyze program operations, workflows, and business processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain tools for tracking engagements, taskings, clearances, action items, stakeholder information, and program activities.
• Collect, analyze, and organize program data and develop dashboards, reports, graphics, and other visual products to support leadership decision-making.
• Develop visual representations of complex information and interactive reports that can be leveraged across multiple platforms.
• Track deadlines, taskers, approvals, and clearances and proactively identify upcoming requirements or potential delays.
• Maintain stakeholder relationship information, engagement histories, contact information, and associated program records.
• Support development, documentation, and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures, workflows, templates, and business practices.
• Analyze program data and activities to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Support working groups and program activities by maintaining records, participant information, meeting materials, action items, and readouts.
• Support electronic and physical information management, records organization, retention practices, and improvements to existing file management systems.
• Develop reports, presentations, briefing materials, and other products communicating program performance, trends, and recommendations.
• Support onboarding and knowledge transfer by maintaining process documentation, reference materials, and program resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or applicable years of experience in lieu of a degree)
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Public Trust required; TS/SCI security clearance preferred
• Experience in business analysis, program analysis, process improvement, data analysis, information management, or federal program support.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, trackers, workflow solutions, or data visualization products preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Platform, or similar collaboration and reporting tools preferred.
