About the role

MicroNova’s Automotive Testing business is becoming part of BlueBinaries, and our activities in Germany and the Czech Republic will continue under the NovaBinaries brand.

This is a role with a strong international focus and broad responsibilities – from financial closing and compliance to reporting and collaboration with external accounting and tax partners as well as Group Finance.

The position can be based in either the Czech Republic or Germany.

Your mission

• Take responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing for our entities in Germany and the Czech Republic, including the preparation and review of journal entries, provisions, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate the accounting activities of our German and Czech entities, work closely with external accounting partners, and ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
• Manage intercompany accounting, including reconciliations and settlements within the Group, and support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with German HGB and Czech GAAP.
• Work closely with tax advisors, auditors, and the international Group Finance team, coordinating audit, tax, and VAT-related matters.
• Prepare management and Group reporting and support treasury activities such as payments and cash flow planning.
• As our organization evolves, you will have the opportunity to shape and improve financial processes, systems, and internal controls, rather than simply follow existing structures.

Your profile

• You have a university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a comparable qualification with a focus on accounting.
• You bring at least 7 years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally in an international, multi-entity environment.
• You have strong knowledge of German HGB, good knowledge of Czech GAAP, and experience with financial statements, tax, VAT, and audits.
• You are experienced in intercompany accounting, Group reporting, and consolidation processes, are familiar with modern ERP systems such as DATEV, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or comparable solutions, and have very good Excel skills.
• You communicate confidently in German and English and bring a structured, analytical, and precise approach, together with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
