30hop Restaurant & Bar in Merriam, KS is hiring Cooks to join our back-of-house team.

Our Cooks are an important part of every shift. From getting ingredients and stations ready before service to preparing menu items during busy meal periods, the kitchen team works together to serve consistent, quality food. We’re looking for dependable team members who stay organized, communicate well, and are ready to contribute wherever needed.

30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We’re known for great food, craft beer, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams work together every day to create an experience that keeps our Guests coming back.

Pay

$15 - $22 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule & Availability

• Full-time preferred; part-time opportunities may be available
• Consistent morning availability is needed
• Weekend availability is required
• Scheduling is based on restaurant needs and team member availability

What You’ll Do

• Prepare ingredients and food items needed for daily service
• Set up, organize, and stock your station for each shift
• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and established standards
• Use grills, fryers, sauté stations, broilers, and other kitchen equipment
• Help maintain consistent food quality, portions, and presentation
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, labeling, storage, and sanitation
• Maintain a clean and organized station throughout your shift
• Assist with prep, cleaning, stocking, and inventory responsibilities
• Communicate with kitchen leaders and teammates during service
• Help with line or prep responsibilities based on the needs of the kitchen
• Other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous line cook, prep cook, or restaurant kitchen experience
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Dependable and comfortable working as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Attention to food quality, cleanliness, and detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds
