The Resource Planner supports workforce planning and resource management across various lines of service by helping ensure the right talent is aligned to the right work at the right time. This role combines data analysis, workforce reporting, resource deployment, and cross-functional coordination to identify staffing needs, capacity gaps, and workforce trends. The Resource Planner partners with business and engagement managers to maintain accurate workforce data, support staffing decisions, and turn complex information into actionable insights that enable effective workforce planning. 

Key Responsibilities :

• Support workforce planning across business units by tracking resource demand, capacity, allocations, availability, and future staffing needs. 

• Identify staffing gaps, over-allocations, and potential resource deployment opportunities. 

• Assist with matching available talent to business needs based on skills, experience, grade, location, timing, and strategic priorities. 

• Coordinate resource assignments, extensions, and transitions ensuring decisions are accurately reflected across the Firm. 

• Partner with business and engagement managers to validate staffing plans, assignment dates, allocation percentages, and resource requirements. 

• Maintain & reconcile workforce information across multiple systems and data sources, identifying and resolving discrepancies. 

• Build & maintain dashboards, trackers, & recurring workforce reports to provide visibility into headcount, utilisation, capacity, demand, vacancies, workforce mix, and other key metrics. 

• Analyse workforce data to identify trends, risks, capacity constraints, and opportunities, translating findings into clear insights & recommended actions. 

• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or automate workforce planning and resource management processes. 

Experience and Qualifications 

• Bachelor degree 

• Approximately 1–3 years of experience in workforce planning, resource management, business operations, project management, or a related field. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complex or incomplete information. 

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality. 

• Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and follow-through skills. 

• Ability to identify trends, risks, gaps, and actionable insights from workforce data. 

• Strong written & verbal communication skills. 

• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different teams. 

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and workforce needs.
