Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Badge Verification in Lawnside, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, entry points, trailer yards, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
