Role: Officer - Credit Operations
Role Location: Valencia
Employment Type: Permanent
Role Summary:
As a Credit Operations Officer, you will be responsible for the operational and administrative processes that support lending and payment activities. The role is to ensure that credit facilities are processed accurately and properly documented. Second key pillar of this role is the daily monitoring of payments pending for Credit assessment/ verification.
Key Responsibilities:
Loan documentation: reviewing loan agreement and supporting documents, ensuring all required documents are complete before loan disbursement, verifying customer instruction and credit approval.
Loan processing & disbursement: Coordinating the disbursement of approved loan, ensuring loan terms and conditions are matched with the approval, inputting loan details in the system for further process.
Credit administration: Maintaining loan records and documentation, monitoring loan maturity date and renewal requirement.
Daily monitoring of blocked outgoing payments due to credit limit breaches.
Daily monitoring of Credit Reporting package (e.g. Overdrafts, Limits, Valuation of Collateral).
Weekly update of debit interests.
Any other duty, which is instructed directly by the managing directors in accordance with Article 6.2 of the employment agreement.
Skills & Experience:
University degree in Banking/ Finance /Accounting or similar.
Understanding of the banking industry.
Understanding of lending products and credit processes.
Excellent English spoken and written communication skills.
Strong verbal and written skills to coordinate communication across multiple internal departments
Excel and reporting skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness and ability to work in a team and meet deadlines. Adherence to procedures
