Position Overview and Objective

Build scalable backend solutions that power Arctic Wolf's cybersecurity platform and help protect thousands of organizations from evolving cyber threats.

As a Software Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of mission-critical backend services that support Arctic Wolf's security products and cloud-native applications.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cybersecurity and AI-driven platforms while gaining hands-on experience with cloud architecture, deployment automation, and scalable distributed systems. You'll play an important role in delivering high-quality software, improving operational efficiency, and driving innovation as part of a collaborative and fast-paced engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs using C# and .NET technologies.

• Build, deploy, and support cloud-native applications on AWS.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using Ansible and related DevOps tools.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application and deployment issues across development, staging, and production environments.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Contribute to operational excellence by improving automation, deployment efficiency, system reliability, and observability.

Experience & Expertise

• 3-6 years of experience in backend software development, building scalable and reliable applications.

• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, and backend API development.

• Experience working in AWS cloud environments and developing cloud-native applications.

• Good understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and system architecture.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile development environments.

Core Technologies

• Backend Development: Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Web API, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.

• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, SQS, and SNS.

• DevOps & Deployment: Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools. Hands-on experience with application deployments, release management, environment configuration, and production support.

• Infrastructure & Automation: Experience with Ansible, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts, and deployment automation.

• Containers & Orchestration: Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Databases: Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.

• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals.

• Experience with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing backend services.
