This recently refurbished nursery offers stimulating indoor environments designed to encourage children to explore, play and develop with confidence. Outside, the large, well-resourced garden gives children plenty of room to be active, build their physical skills and enjoy outdoor learning as a natural part of their day.
We’re looking for an experienced Early Years professional ready to take on a key leadership role, supporting the Nursery Manager while remaining closely involved with the children, team and day-to-day life of the setting.

- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
- Confidence leading, supporting and developing nursery practitioners
- Experience maintaining high standards across Early Years environments
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A positive, hands-on approach to leadership
What You’ll Receive
- £32,000 per year
- Discounted childcare
- Your birthday off
- Competitive annual leave
- Enhanced parental leave
- Training and development opportunities
- Wellbeing programme
Your Role
- Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day leadership of the setting
- Provide a visible, supportive presence for practitioners across the nursery
- Help lead, motivate and develop the Early Years team
- Support the delivery of high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, compliance, health and safety
- Support staff deployment, ratios and the smooth running of the nursery
- Help ensure the refurbished indoor environments remain stimulating and purposeful
- Encourage the team to make full use of the large outdoor area for learning, exploration and physical development
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Step up in the Nursery Manager’s absence and provide continuity of leadership
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and verification of the right to work in the UK, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
