Job Description:
This position is responsible for creating and maintaining the contracts between Vendor and Customer / Vendor and Medline. The vendor contract receives contract copies from the Vendor to set up a new contract or update an existing contract. Vendor Contract Associate Analyst’s role is to create the new contract and maintain the existing contract in the Medline system accurately which includes critical information such as the start and end date of the contract, Customer eligibility list, Item price list, etc. Vendor Contract Associate Analyst is responsible to audit and maintain existing contracts on a timely basis as per updates from Vendors.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accurate evaluation and interpretation of a high volume of contracts to ensure all necessary contracts are setup in SAP-Vistex.
- Responsible for modification and renewal of contracts in SAP-Vistex.
- Update and maintain the SAP-Vistex contract system as a result of amended contracts and reconcile huge contracts data from Vendors with Medline accurately to avoid chargebacks losses.
- Working with vendors to obtain contract pricing and tier eligibility.
- Working on multiple applications and Vendor portals for extracting and updating data in SAP-Vistex.
- Monitor expiring contracts and make any necessary changes in SAP-Vistex as confirmed by the vendors
- Perform audits and reports to ensure system accuracy after analyzing customer and vendor data.
- Research and resolve contract-related queries submitted by sales representatives and other internal teams.
- Collaboration and coordination with the Chargebacks team to resolve chargebacks discrepancies.
- Performs ad hoc special project requests from sales, vendor relations, or division management.
Must Have
- Graduate degree.
- 2–3 years of experience in reporting or contract processes, including reviewing, amending, and standardizing contracts.
- Experience in processing details, understanding and prioritizing their importance, and drawing clear and concise conclusions.
- Experience using time‑management skills such as prioritizing, organizing, tracking details, and meeting deadlines.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to achieve departmental goals within established timelines.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong and polished English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to manage work during periods of high request influx.
- Ability to multitask as required.
- Deadline‑driven and detail‑oriented.
- Team player who is self‑driven and hardworking.
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, cell formatting, filtering, sorting, etc.).
Good to Have
- MBA degree.
- Prior experience in contracting/pricing, SAP Vistex, or Zendesk.
- Educational background in pharmaceutical sciences (B. Pharm or M. Pharm).
