Medical Records Clerk
Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is looking for a detailed Medical Records Clerk to join our team. In this role, you'll import patient medical records, identify key data elements in the medical record and accurately interprets and extrapolates into IHA patient EHR charts.
What You'll Do:
- Scan documents into the EHR chart.
- Tasks relevant patient documentation to appropriate office workgroup or provider PAQ’s.
- Enters data counts into appropriate grid.
- Facilitates patient FMLA and Disability paperwork.
- Transcribes incoming referrals into EHR system
- Facilitates incoming and outgoing radiology and pathology requests.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
General Requirements:
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED
- CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: None
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: General understanding of IHA office procedures, with previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or Records Clerk preferred, but not required.
