Job Description:

Role Title: Account Manager

Reports to: General Manager

Purpose of the Role

The role is responsible for managing assigned client accounts while overseeing the internal coordination and delivery of projects across the agency.

This includes maintaining strong client relationships, translating business objectives into actionable workflows, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring all projects are strategically aligned, properly resourced, commercially responsible, and delivered to required standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Management & Accountability

• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact
• Ensure all requests are clearly documented, approved, and aligned
• Maintain structured, professional communication

2. Traffic & Workflow Management

• Develop and manage workplans, timelines, and task allocation
• Monitor all projects daily and enforce deadlines
• Coordinate across Strategy and Creative for seamless execution

3. Operational Hygiene & Process Discipline

• Maintain clear, structured, and up-to-date tracking of all projects and tasks
• Ensure all work follows defined processes: briefing → alignment → execution → review → approval → delivery
• Keep accurate and accessible records of:
  • Briefs
  • Timelines
  • Feedback
  • Approvals
• Ensure no work proceeds without proper documentation and alignment
• Maintain visibility across all accounts at all times

4. Brief Development & Strategic Alignment

• Translate client requests into clear, strategy-aligned briefs
• Validate alignment with Strategist where required
• Ensure all teams are aligned before execution

5. Creative Output Quality Control

• Coordinate with Creative Director to ensure quality and timelines
• Manage internal and client feedback loops
• Ensure all outputs are reviewed and approved before submission

6.  Creative Coordination

                 

• Ensure end-to-end delivery of all assigned projects, campaigns, and creative workstreams from briefing through execution, review, approval, and final delivery

• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Strategy, Creative, Production, Digital, and Community Management to ensure seamless execution
• Maintain alignment between strategic direction, creative quality, timelines, operational processes, and client expectations
• Ensure all deliverables are completed to required standards, within agreed timelines, scope, and approval frameworks

7. Commercial Awareness & Profitability Discipline

• Maintain awareness of scope, budget implications, and resource utilisation across all projects
• Ensure work delivered aligns strictly with approved scope
• Identify and flag scope creep before execution
• Support efficient use of team time and resources
• Escalate any risks to profitability to the Business Director
