Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, and maintain computer software and firmware supporting EW and tactical mission systems.

· Support the full software lifecycle, including system design, new development, upgrades, modernization, and sustainment of fielded systems.

· Plan, design, code, test, integrate, and deliver algorithms, models, source code, executables, and software applications.

· Analyze system requirements and support development of test objectives, plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria.

· Perform requirements development, validation, traceability, risk assessment, and mitigation planning.

· Conduct unit, integration, system-level, regression, and independent verification and validation (IV&V) testing.

· Maintain traceability between requirements, test designs, procedures, and test results and document discrepancies.

· Participate in code reviews, user acceptance testing, automated testing, and technical documentation.

· Use Government-accessible git-based repositories and follow software configuration management practices.

· Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve software to correct defects, improve performance, address vulnerabilities, and support changing operating environments.

· Support software architecture, quality assurance, cloud services, cybersecurity, and integration into larger mission systems and networks.

· Support laboratory and field testing and prepare required engineering and software documentation.

 

Requirements

  · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.

  · 3+ years of professional software development, software engineering, computer science, or related experience.

  · Experience designing, coding, integrating, testing, and maintaining software in a structured engineering environment.

  · Proficiency in Python, C, C++, Java, or similar programming languages.

  · Experience with unit, integration, and system-level software testing.

  · Experience with requirements analysis, traceability, and technical documentation.

  · Familiarity with git-based version control and configuration management.

  · Ability to troubleshoot software and integrated systems in laboratory or operational test environments.

  · Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work across software, systems, test, and cybersecurity teams.

  · U.S. Citizenship required.

  · Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
