Morning Part-Time Cashier – HomeSense
Holiday Hiring
HomeSense is looking for friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Part-Time Cashiers to join our team for the holiday season!
As a cashier, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive shopping experience by welcoming customers, providing excellent service, and ensuring every transaction is handled accurately and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly and engaging customer service at the register and throughout the store
- Accurately process purchases, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash and other forms of payment accurately and responsibly
- Promote HomeSense credit and loyalty programs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area
- Assist with merchandise recovery and maintaining the sales floor when needed
- Help keep the store clean, organized, and ready for customers
- Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and loss-prevention standards
- Work cooperatively with fellow associates and management
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable handling cash and operating a register
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment

- Strong morning/daytime availability
- Open availability Monday through Sunday is required
- Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred, but not required
- 18+ preferred
Schedule & Holiday Availability
Part-Time | Morning Cashier
Normal Hours:
9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Mid-November through Christmas:
7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Applicants must be comfortable with early morning and daytime hours. Holiday and weekend availability is strongly preferred.
