Scope of Role:

The Labor Contract Analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining the rates for all union labor, as well as the state and federal taxes. This role ensures that all estimates and actuals are appropriately budgeted and account for any state/federal tax and union benefit owed across all projects. The ideal candidate is comfortable reading and interpreting union collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and wage scales, translating them into accurate rate updates within Rate Hunter (our proprietary rate management system), and reconciling applied rates against contract terms to confirm accuracy.

The Labor Contract Analyst will also assist in managing resources for tracking taxes and benefits; keeping up with changes as and when they occur.

Other duties include:

-Audits and Incentives – gathering materials and track requests from start to finish

-Contributions Questions/Issues – investigate contribution discrepancies and track from start to finish to ensure any issues are resolved.

-Contract Rate Maintenance – read and interpret union collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and wage scales; update and maintain corresponding rate tables in Rate Hunter, our proprietary rate management system.

-Rate Reconciliation – reconcile applied rates on estimates and actuals against contract terms to confirm accuracy; research and resolve any discrepancies found.

-Making sure requested reports are delivered in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

-2+ years of experience in payroll, accounting, or benefits/contributions administration

-Self-motivated

-Self-starter

-Exceptionally high attention to detail and extreme accuracy

-Experience reading/interpreting union collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and wage scales, and maintaining rate tables within a rate management or payroll system (IATSE experience strongly preferred); experience with Rate Hunter a plus, though training is provided

-Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliations)

-Well-organized

-Can prioritize when given multiple tasks
