Description
Our Central Vendor Management Team is seeking a Vendor Management Analyst to support monitoring, analysis, and continuous improvement of vendor performance. This role partners with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with company standards, and identify opportunities to improve performance through data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
In the Role
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly operational and compliance audits.
- Maintain audit documentation, vendor records, and performance reporting.
- Monitor vendor performance, productivity, and operational trends.
- Analyze performance data and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop and maintain standardized scorecards, dashboards, and reporting.
- Communicate audit findings, performance trends, and recommendations to leadership and vendor partners.
- Assist with remediation of operational and technical issues impacting vendor performance.
- Draft, obtain approvals for, and distribute vendor communications.
- Partner with internal business units and external vendors to support operational initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support Point of Sale and other lending operations as assigned.
- Travel to vendor locations for onsite reviews, training, and business discussions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Secure internet connection required.
- Ability to work remotely and to be in office when requested.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business partners.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (formulas, PivotTables, filtering, sorting, and data analysis).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while balancing recurring responsibilities and project-based work.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to learn new systems, applications, and reporting tools quickly.
Preferred
- Two or more years of experience in operations, vendor management, project management, business analysis, financial services, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to influence business partners and drive process improvements without direct authority.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with external vendors or business partners.
- Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, scorecards, or performance metrics.
- Experience in financial services, collections, lending, or Point of Sale Operations.
- Experience with Power BI, Snowflake, SQL, Power Query, or similar reporting tools.
