Inside the Role

The Vocational Sales role supports the Fleet Services Group (FSG) by expanding and strengthening DTNA’s service sales through DTNA Vocational National Accounts and Truck Equipment Manufacturers (TEMS). This role reports to the Manager, Channel Sales & National Accounts to establish and execute sales programs, onboard industry partners, and drive revenue aligned with DTNA’s Go2030 strategy.

The Specialist will play a key role in growing non-traditional service channels, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners to increase parts and service sales, improve customer satisfaction, and ensure consistent execution of direct and dealer programs.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Growth & Support

  • Assist in identifying, onboarding, and supporting Customers to expand service growth.

  • Coordinate the launch and execution of new sales programs, campaigns, and promotions within the independent channel.

  • Ensure alignment between DTNA, FSG, and dealer sales teams on objectives, pricing, and program updates.

Relationship Management

  • Serve as a liaison between industry partners and internal departments (product, marketing, operations, finance, compliance).

  • Support dealers/customers with point-of-sale tools, training materials, and performance insights to enhance sales effectiveness.

  • Track and manage dealer inquiries, feedback, and issue resolution to ensure a positive partnership experience.

Sales Reporting & Analysis

  • Monitor channel sales performance and provide regular reporting to leadership on KPIs, growth opportunities, and competitive trends.

  • Utilize DTNA systems and dashboards to measure dealer participation, sales volume, and profitability metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Marketing to develop communication materials and program content tailored to Industry Partners.

  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure accurate and compliant execution of dealer agreements and incentives.

  • Support the creation of training and onboarding content in partnership with Learning & Development.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of related experience.

  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, dealer development, TEMS and/or channel management—automotive or commercial vehicle industry preferred.

  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Excel, and data analysis/reporting tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to travel up to 40% to create and maintain relationships with industry partners sales training, and industry events.
