Flagship Visual Merchandise Specialist

Our Flagship stores are where MECCA comes to life at its biggest and boldest. We’re looking for an experienced Flagship Visual Merchandise Specialist to lead Visual Merchandising across our Flagship network, helping Bourke Street, Chadstone, George Street and future Flagship locations set the benchmark for exceptional customer experiences and VM excellence. 

This is an individual contributor role, but one with significant reach and influence across the business. You’ll work in close partnership with Flagship VM teams, Retail Leadership, Store Managers and Support Centre teams, using your expertise, relationships and influence to create alignment and drive exceptional VM execution across the network. 

The Role You Could Play:  

You’ll be the key connection between our Support Centre VM function and Flagship stores, translating creative direction into clear execution priorities and influencing teams to bring our VM strategy to life. 

• Lead VM excellence across our Flagship network, ensuring campaigns, launches, activations and always-on experiences deliver exceptional customer experiences and compelling retail storytelling.  

• Build strong partnerships across Flagship stores, Retail Leadership, VM, Marketing and Creative teams, using your influence to create alignment and drive exceptional execution.  

• Coach, guide and build capability within Flagship VM teams, without direct people leadership responsibility, helping strengthen VM standards, visual storytelling and experiential execution.  

• Drive operational excellence and consistency through clear VM standards, ways of working and execution frameworks, ensuring stores are ready for key campaigns and customer moments.  

• Use customer, commercial and operational insights to identify opportunities that elevate engagement, category performance and the future Flagship experience. 

What You Will Bring  

You’re an experienced Visual Merchandising professional who knows how to lead through influence, partnership and expertise. You’re confident building credibility with a broad range of stakeholders and bringing people along on the journey, even when they don’t directly report to you. 

• 7+ years’ Visual Merchandising experience within large-format retail environments, ideally within Flagship, premium or destination retail.  

• Strong experience delivering campaigns, activations, installations and experiential retail initiatives.  

• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working across multiple teams, locations and levels of leadership.  

• Commercial acumen and a customer-first mindset, with a strong understanding of how visual storytelling can influence customer experience and business performance.  

• The ability to operate comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on execution, translating strategy into clear actions and building alignment across the business
