What You Will Do
- You will design, develop, document, test, and debug low-level software utilizing SoC peripherals to perform data exchange with discrete hardware via a bus such as I2C, SPI, or PCIe.
- You will design, develop, document, test, and debug middleware and application software containing logical and mathematical algorithms.
- You will perform hardware and low-level software integration resolving issues around timing, signal slew rates, device configuration, power-on sequences, data synchronization, memory management, etc.
- You will design and implement build procedures that are used to support hardware and software product development and function.
- You will coordinate with other project team members in the planning, design, development, and utilization of display systems to ensure smooth operations on software engineering activities.
- You will ensure compliance with program and product requirements and certification processes.

- You will gain exposure to a variety of Avionics display systems and safety-critical software development.
- You will learn about the latest in embedded C++, BSP software design, and safety critical graphics APIs such as OpenGL SC, Vulkan SC, or ARINC 661.

You will enhance your problem-solving and integration skills working with complex hardware and software systems.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Well organized and demonstrated excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork skills
- Strong communication skills for effective communication to various audiences
- Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects
Qualifications We Prefer
- OpenGL, Vulkan, or other Graphics API experience
- Embedded C++, bare metal, or Platform Level Software Experience
- Experience with avionics display systems and safety-critical software development
- Familiarity with RTOS environments and low-level software integration

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
