The Advanced Packaging Technology Development (APTD) department at Micron Technology is where manufacturing, engineering, and innovation come together to enable the next generation of memory and storage technology. Position Overview:
The Line Coordinator is a critical link between Production, Planning, Engineering, and support teams. In this role, you will help drive manufacturing execution, coordinate priorities, manage product flow, and support operational decisions through data and process insights. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, meticulous, and energized by a fast-paced manufacturing environment where collaboration and initiative are valued.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate production priorities, engineering requests, inventory activities, and material flow to support manufacturing operations
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), manage manufacturing system transactions, and maintain accurate production data
- Partner with Production, Planning, Engineering, and support teams to resolve issues and ensure timely product movement
- Find opportunities to improve workflows through AI tools, automation, dashboards, and data analysis
- Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining safety and compliance standards
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree and 3 years relative experience or BS in Engineering, Manufacturing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience coordinating priorities, managing data, or supporting operations in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs
- Interest in or experience using AI tools, automation, dashboards, or data analytics to improve operational efficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting manufacturing planning, inventory management, material coordination, or engineering requests
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Experience identifying process improvements and implementing workflow efficiencies
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills and a focus on accuracy
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines
