As a Treasury Analyst, you will perform detailed analysis and provide specialized reporting to senior management that will optimize financial planning and decision making.
In this role you will:
- Prepare and develop various non-recurring and recurring reports and forecasting models as assigned by the Assistant Treasurer, Vice President and Treasurer, or Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
- Provide the Vice President and Treasurer with various specialized monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the performance of the Company's accounts receivable portfolio.
- Perform analysis on financial decision-making opportunities such as rate of return, lease verses buy, capital budgeting, and lease internal rate of return.
- Responsible for preparation of the quarterly report that is presented to the Company's Finance Committee; audit final reports for accuracy and ensure deadlines are met.
- Recommend, develop, and maintain models that forecast the future financial performance of the Company.
- Provide independent valuations of acquisition candidates.
- Provide backup to other Treasury functions
What you bring to the table:
- Minimum 3 years of experience: Must have excellent skills in spreadsheet and forecast computing including Excel, Visual Basic, and Access and demonstrated ability to understand and apply basic financial concepts
- 4+ years of experience preferred
- Four-year degree: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a closely related discipline; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- Knowledge of financial practices and techniques
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and how to apply them to the Company's proprietary models
- Understanding of how to apply basic to moderately complex financial concepts
- Ability to analyze and draw conclusions from large volumes of data
- Ability to perform a wide variety of moderately complex treasury activities
- Excellent skills in Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work under limited supervision and exercise good judgment
- Some travel required
Compensation Details: The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $67,919 annually, depending on experience. This position is also incentive eligible, based on specific and relevant business metrics.
