As a Senior Contract Specialist at ICON, you will the development, negotiation, and management of contracts to support our clinical research initiatives.
What You Will Do:
You will contribute to contract management activities, taking responsibility for your deliverables and working collaboratively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, including clinical trial agreements, service agreements, and confidentiality agreements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure that contracts align with organizational objectives and compliance standards.
- Providing guidance and expertise on contract terms and conditions to internal stakeholders and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records of contracts and amendments, and tracking contract performance and compliance post-execution.
- Developing and implementing best practices for contract management and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Your Profile:
You will bring relevant contract management experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in contract negotiation and management, ideally within the clinical research or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proven ability to identify and mitigate contractual risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in contract management software and tools, along with a strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
