HealthOPM is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to join a welcoming retirement community in the Huron County (Goderich area). Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) standards of practice.
• Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions as prescribed.
• Assess, monitor, document, and report changes in residents' physical, mental, and emotional health.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Respond promptly and effectively to medical concerns and emergency situations.
• Supervise, mentor, and support Personal Support Workers (PSWs) while promoting high standards of resident care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with organizational policies, infection prevention and control (IPAC), and health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) in good standing.
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (issued within the past 12 months).
• Current TB screening/clearance.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous experience in a retirement community, long-term care, or seniors' care setting is considered an asset.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional resident-centred care.
