Description
Position Summary
Storr Logistic Services is seeking a dependable and organized Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate inventory, preparing products for delivery, receiving inbound shipments, and ensuring the warehouse remains organized and operating efficiently.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with warehouse technology and scanning systems, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Essential Responsibilities
Receive, scan, label, and properly store incoming products within designated warehouse locations.
Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks while ensuring products are handled safely.
Use barcode scanners and warehouse systems to accurately track product movement.
Identify and resolve scanning, batch, or inventory discrepancies as they occur.
Pull inventory based on scheduled deliveries and prepare, clean, and stage products for outbound routes.
Review Warehouse Management System (WMS) information and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.
Conduct routine cycle counts and inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Work with planners, delivery teams, and installers to resolve product or inventory-related issues.
Maintain warehouse equipment, tools, and necessary operating supplies.
Keep dock, staging, and warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Follow all established warehouse procedures and workplace safety requirements.
Maintain a professional and cooperative working relationship with team members and leadership.
Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with additional operational responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Valid state-issued driver's license required.
Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple warehouse priorities.
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with limited supervision.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping, or receiving experience is preferred.
Experience using warehouse management or inventory software is preferred.
Basic Microsoft Word and Excel experience is a plus.
Willingness to complete required safety training and follow company procedures for reporting workplace injuries.
