Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity

As a Dallas - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. Within our Assurance practice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to the delivery of independent and objective assessments that uphold transparency, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role will allow you to develop a foundational understanding of digital assurance and auditing methodologies, enhancing your skills in financial reporting and decision-making.

As an Intern, you will support teams by performing basic tasks and conducting research while observing professional work environments. You will be encouraged to adopt a learning mindset, actively listen, and ask questions to deepen your understanding. This role emphasizes the importance of taking both observational and participatory roles on teams, allowing you to appreciate diverse perspectives and develop your potential. In this role at PwC, you will gain exposure to PwC's methodologies and practices, setting the stage for your future career development.

Responsibilities

- Supporting audit teams in conducting financial assessments and evaluations
- Participating in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance transparency and compliance
- Assisting in the development and deployment of cloud engineering solutions for audit processes
- Engaging in the use of artificial intelligence platforms to streamline audit tasks
- Contributing to the assessment of data quality and validation to maintain data integrity
- Collaborating with team members to apply compliance auditing techniques effectively
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into industry practices
- Gathering and analyzing information to identify patterns and support decision-making
- Applying a learning mindset to develop personal and professional skills in auditing environments

What You Must Have

- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
