Why We Need Your Talents:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the licensing process of the Maryland Lottery Gaming Commission Agency for applicants and support all areas of Human Resources in various processes, including front desk representation, employee relations, recruiting, training and HRIS. Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, fast, friendly, and fun environment for all guests, team members, and company assets. The focus shall always be on ensuring a safe and comfortable environment while maintaining a positive can-do attitude with an emphasis on the highest level of guest service for both external and internal guests to Live! Casino.
Shift: Tuesday-Friday, 10:30am-7pm & Saturday 8am-4pm
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Become the Live! subject matter expert regarding the Maryland Lottery Gaming Commission Agency’s Licensing process and administration.
- Act as a liaison between Live! and the MLGCA.
- Submit all background information and license applications to the MLGCA in a timely manner.
- Maintain, prepare and produce various reports using Excel on candidate and financial status on daily, weekly, monthly basis (or as otherwise requested).
- Sets up and assists applicants with license application; answers inquiries regarding application.
- Greets visitors, informs department members of guests and visitors when appropriate.
- Ensures calls and visitors are properly routed.
- Checks-in new hires upon arrival.
- Processes new hires, seasonal employees, and other staff through the onboarding process.
- Coordinates replacement licenses.
- Processes team member requests for name tags, access badges, and licenses.
- Resets passwords for employees.
- Prepares new hires for orientation
- Support all areas of Human Resources including employee relations, recruitment, training, and HRIS
Skills to Help You Succeed:
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
- Ability to effectively utilize technology including HRIS, MS Office Suite, and other HR software as needed.
- Possesses strong organization skills, project management skills and good interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Some HR experience or education preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a license as required by the Maryland Lottery Gaming Commission Agency.
