Key Responsibilities
- Drive safely between our Netherlands sites, transporting stock, equipment and supplies so they reach the right teams when needed.
- Transport colleagues safely and reliably between agreed local transport hubs and our sites.
- Plan efficient routes using GPS and navigation tools, adapting to traffic, collections and changing operational priorities.
- Secure stock and equipment correctly before transport, handling items carefully throughout their journey.
- Coordinate collections and deliveries with colleagues and external suppliers to keep planned movements running smoothly.
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently, taking care when handling stock and equipment.
- Move boxes, stock and equipment between vehicles, warehouses and work areas so operational teams have what they need.
- Organise stock in designated areas so it remains safe, accessible and easy for teams to locate.
- Use pallet trucks, forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely when trained and authorised to do so.
- Support daily stock movements and wider warehouse priorities when additional capacity is needed.
- Keep warehouse and logistics areas clean, organised and clear so people and stock can move around the site safely.
- Complete required vehicle checks before driving, making sure vehicles are safe and ready to use.
- Report vehicle faults, damage or maintenance requirements promptly so issues can be resolved before they affect operations.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle checks, journeys and maintenance where required.
- Organise your workload around transport, delivery and collection schedules so agreed movements happen on time.
- Adapt your priorities throughout the day, moving between driving and warehouse responsibilities as operational needs change.
- Raise recurring transport, stock movement or operational issues and share practical ideas that could make the process safer or more efficient.
- Follow road safety, manual-handling and workplace safety requirements at all times.
- Check that stock, equipment and other goods are loaded and secured correctly before every journey.
- Use vehicles and warehouse equipment only when appropriately trained and authorised.
- Report accidents, damage, hazards and safety concerns promptly and follow the appropriate reporting procedures.
- Maintain any licences, training or certifications required to safely perform the role.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience in driving, logistics, warehousing or another hands-on operational role.
- A strong understanding of road safety and safe driving practices.
- Ability to handle and move stock and equipment carefully and safely.
- Good organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work to agreed schedules.
- A reliable and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt when operational priorities change.
- Clear and friendly communication skills when working with colleagues and external suppliers.
- Ability to work confidently and responsibly when driving independently and as part of a team when working on site.
- Ability to carry out the practical requirements of the role, including regular movement around the site and handling and moving boxes, stock and equipment.
- Ability to follow transport, warehouse and safety procedures consistently.
- Experience driving regularly between multiple operational sites.
- Experience handling vintage, fragile or high-value goods.
- Experience using stock or warehouse management systems.
- Forklift or other material-handling certification.
- Experience working in a busy logistics or warehouse environment.
- A valid Dutch driving licence appropriate for the vehicles used in the role.
