Health Data Governance Advisor

Mission Overview:

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Health Data Governance Advisor to support our client in their activities related to health data, data governance, and the implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS) in Belgium. This position represents a consultancy mission at the client site, where you will be hired by Keystone Solutions to work on impactful client projects.

Key Responsibilities:

The Health Data Governance Advisor will assist the client in analyzing and structuring data issues and developing concrete policy, functional, and process solutions. These responsibilities will be carried out under Keystone Solutions' consultancy model.

• Data Governance: Knowledge of core concepts such as data ownership, metadata, data quality, reference data, data catalogs, and clear roles and responsibilities, combined with technical skills in Python and SQL to document, monitor, and optimize data assets.
• Health Data and EHDS Context: Affinity with health data and insight into European and Belgian developments regarding the EHDS and the secondary use of health data. The advisor can analyze and translate relevant regulations and policy information into functional and process implications.
• Functional Analysis and Requirements Management: Analyze and structure data, information, and issues, translating them into clear insights and actionable results. Capture, analyze, and translate business needs into clear functional requirements. Understand the interaction between business processes, data, and systems, and support alignment between business and technical stakeholders.
• Data Systems and Integration Context: Insight into how data is managed, exchanged, and integrated within a broader application and data landscape. Analyze the impact of changes on processes, metadata, data flows, and systems, and provide advice accordingly.
• Processes and Documentation: Analyze and describe processes, requirements, and methodologies, contributing to clear, consistent, and usable documentation.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Support: Work effectively with colleagues and support interactions with healthcare institutions, governments, research institutions, and other stakeholders. Communicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience:

The advisor should possess a relevant academic background and experience with data or governance issues. Experience with analysis, process support, documentation, or data-driven projects is a plus.
