Summary of Job Duties:
- Maintain accurate attendance and scholastic records of students. Submit student and personal data as requested. Cooperate with the full-time Adult Education instructor in order to maintain course continuity.- Administer intake testing, evaluate student performance, and provide instruction based on student needs to complete the required course of instruction. Implement and update learning plan for each student. Provide instruction, feedback, and performance evaluation to students using state approved materials.
- Willing to travel occasionally for trainings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or additional coursework in business administration, office management, or a related field preferred.
- Previous office, clerical, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Accurate data entry and recordkeeping skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with employees, customers, and the public.
- Ability to learn office procedures, policies, and software systems.
- Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to perform basic office tasks such as filing, copying, scanning, and operating standard office equipment.
