The Role:
Our site in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Product Development Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
In this role you'll support the product development engineering designing and optimizing new products and processes for the manufacturing of Chemical Mechanical Planarization pads.

What You’ll Do:

• Work to support the process development and commercialization of  new products

• Lead continuous improvement project to drive process efficiency and reduce product variation

• Work closely with various business functions to support the manufacturing processes and resolve customer product quality inquiries

What We Seek:

• Experience working in a lab (employment or school) and knowledge of safe lab practices is preferred

• Ability to write technical reports and present data in a clear and concise manner

• Strong problem solving and analysis skills

• This role is 100% on-site in Hillsboro, OR; M-F standard office hours

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
Rising junior or senior working towards a Bachelor of Science in a STEM field

Eligibility:

• Must be a currently enrolled student

• Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June

• Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co-op program

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position will require the ability to work on a factory floor up to 8hrs per day operating machinery and testing equipment.

• Compensation: $20-$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
