Risk Officer - CEZ
Location: Hybrid based from either Manchester, Warrington or Derby
Salary: We anticipate paying a salary in the £44,550.00 - £58,450.00 range
The Role
As part of the PMO Risk team, the Risk officer will play a key role in supporting the effective operation of risk management processes across Rolls-Royce SMR.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Risk, you will provide analytical, reporting and systems support to Risk Managers, Risk Champions and Programme teams across the business. You will help ensure risk data remains accurate and meaningful, support the administration of our risk management systems, and deliver high-quality reporting that enables informed decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the maintenance and continual improvement of risk data within our Risk Management Information Systems, including Active Risk Manager (ARM).
- Producing regular and ad-hoc risk reports, dashboards and analysis using tools such as ARM, Power BI and Excel.
- Supporting Risk Managers and stakeholders in the consistent application of risk management processes.
- Performing risk data quality reviews and helping maintain effective risk registers.
- Identifying trends, insights and emerging themes from risk information to support decision-making.
- Supporting risk reviews, workshops and action tracking activities.
- Providing practical system support and guidance to users of risk management tools.
- Assisting with the development of risk management guidance, training materials and user support documentation.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of risk reporting, data quality and risk management capability across the business.
Who We're Looking For
We're interested in hearing from candidates who have experience within risk, PMO, project controls, programme delivery, data analysis or related business support functions.
You will ideally bring:
- Practical experience supporting risk management activities within a project, programme or business environment.
- An understanding of risk management principles, processes and governance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
- Experience producing reports and dashboards for a range of stakeholders.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to build effective working relationships and communicate confidently with stakeholders at different levels.
- A proactive, collaborative and customer-focused approach.
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous, but is not essential:
- Active Risk Manager (ARM) or other Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS).
- Power BI or other reporting and visualisation tools.
- Project controls, schedule risk, cost risk or quantitative risk analysis.
- Microsoft Copilot and wider Microsoft 365 tools.
- Nuclear, engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing or other complex project environments.
- Risk management, project management or data analysis qualifications.
