As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Coordination in Moosic, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.62 / Hour

Proof of High School Diploma/GED (C137):

• All candidates must provide valid documentation proving the completion of a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate. Acceptable forms of proof include:
  • Official high school transcripts
  • GED certificate
  • State-issued documentation confirming completion

Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):

• Candidates applying for positions that require access control or badge management must demonstrate prior experience in this area. This includes familiarity with:
  • Security protocols
  • Badge issuance and management systems
  • Access control technologies

CPR Certification (B205):

• For roles that necessitate emergency response capabilities, candidates must possess a valid CPR certification. Acceptable certifications include:
  • American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification
  • American Red Cross CPR certification
  • Other nationally recognized CPR training programs

Customer Service Experience (B219):

• Candidates must have demonstrable experience in customer service roles. This includes:
  • Previous employment in customer-facing positions
  • Skills in communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of financial institution premises, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, attention to surroundings, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
