Maintenance Manager
Main purpose of the job:
Manage and develop maintenance operations at mill in a safe way, according to MT strategy and rules, in cooperation with the local management to reach mill goals
Main duties and responsibilities:
- As a part of the mill management, responsible for production targets achievement.
- Support and drive continuous improvement throughout the mill.
- Contribute to the development of new technologies and production methods.
- Ensure that the maintenance improvement processes (MIP) are active at the mill and monitor/communicate the maintenance KPI´s.
- Ensure that Metsä Tissue maintenance handbook is followed.
- Identify and secure adequate maintenance competence in organization.
- Ensure clear roles and responsibilities within the maintenance.
- Ensure compliance of laws, regulations and contracts in own responsibility area.
- Ensure that maintenance budget targets are met.
- Participate or lead projects
- Lead and implement plans and actions which enable achieving set strategy.
- Responsible for the continuous improvements of the processes, working methods, people,
materials and equipment
- Support colleagues in matters concerning authorities
- Responsible for energy certification ISO 500001
- Responsible to ensure safety and well-being at work for own team members
Working experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience of maintenance related supervisory duties
- Very good knowledge of field of maintenance
Language skills:
- Local language
- English, written and spoken
Education:
- Professional education in engineering or extensive experience in the field of maintenance
