UW Medical Center - Northwest - OB/GYN Clinic ( location: Northwest ) has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Services Specialist 2.

WORK SCHEDULE

• Full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week)

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Conveniently located in North Seattle, Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic at Northwest Outpatient Medical Center provides a full range of obstetrics and gynecology care, from wellness exams to pregnancy care to the latest in minimally invasive surgery. Our services also include family planning, nutritional counseling, management of menopausal issues, and screenings for early detection and treatment of many gynecologic problems, including PCOS and endometriosis.

We work with you to develop an individually tailored care plan that includes your physical, emotional, social and spiritual health.

At the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic at Northwest Outpatient Medical Center, we believe women deserve the best that is available in modern medicine combined with clear communication and education.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging  

• Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments

• Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information

• Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery

• Other duties as requested

REQUIREMENTS

• High school graduation or equivalent AND

• One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience

• OR

• An equivalent combination of education/experience

• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

$24.30 hourly
