Summary:
The A&A Staff Accountant is the team member who performs the majority of the day-to-day fieldwork on accounting and auditing engagements, and certain tax engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Works on various audit, review, compilation or accounting procedures under direct supervision
- Prepares financial statements
- Prepares and reconciles account schedules as required
- Performs year-end inventory observations
- Communicates with clients regarding information needed or clarification of issues
- Actively pursue CPA certification
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or another relevant field required
- Proficient in use of computers and basic software applications
- Above average written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform under time pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to travel by air and vehicle
- Ability to provide own transportation for traveling to client assignments and for personal development programs
- Overtime work required periodically throughout year
* A hybrid work schedule will be considered after six months of employment.
