As a Product Manager, you'll own a portfolio of HP's Business Computing products across Germany and Austria, helping organizations equip their employees with the technology they need to work, collaborate, and thrive.
In this role, you'll combine technology, business strategy, and data-driven decision making to drive growth, profitability, and market success. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Global Product Teams, you'll shape product strategies, launch new technologies, define pricing and go-to-market plans, and identify new opportunities to grow the business.

Key responsibilities
- Product knowledge : very good understanding of personal computing technologies, product trends and ability to translate technology features into customer benefits.
- Lifecycle management: Manage the complete lifecycle of products in the specific portfolio, from engagement with R&D teams, to new product introduction activities, to product management all the way to product transitions.
- Portfolio Management: Define the product offering for Germany and Austria, defining prices and strategies to ensure a successful execution of growth plans
- Turn insights into action: Analyze market trends, customer feedback, competitive activity, and sales performance to identify opportunities for the busines
- Collaborate across teams: Work with local and global stakeholders to align priorities and deliver results. Engage with sales teams, distributors, resellers, and technology partners to maximize business growth.
- Drive continuous improvement: Challenge the status quo and identify smarter ways of working.
Qualifications
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Category Management, Business Development, or a similar role
- Experience managing products, portfolios, business initiatives, or go-to-market programs.
- Technology, IT, consumer electronics, or B2B experience is a plus.
Skills
- Strong business and analytical mindset, strong knowledge of Excel, Python and data analysis
- Comfortable working with data, Business KPIs like revenue, margin, and ability to turn data insights to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to translate complex realities in concise, action driven communication, both oral and written.
- Ability to work across functions and influence without direct authority
- Strong ownership mentality with a focus on results, with ability to take initiative, to be self driven, managing several initiatives being able to prioritize key tasks to maximize results in a fast pace environment.
Education
- Four Year Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience is equally valued.
Languages
- Fluent German and English
Preferred qualification
- Experience in Product Management or Go-to-Market roles.
- Exposure to pricing strategy, forecasting, portfolio management, or P&L responsibility.
- Experience working with channel partners, distributors, or enterprise customers.
- Knowledge of commercial PCs, workplace technology, AI-enabled devices, or broader IT market trends.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and driving measurable business results.
