Responsibilities

The Opportunity

This role serves as a key Finance business partner to the Canadian Beverages Sales Finance Team, driving insights and decision-making through performance reporting, forecasting, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development. The position is responsible for delivering actionable financial analysis, identifying business opportunities and risks, and supporting the achievement of revenue and profitability objectives.

 

Your Impact

 

As Sales Fin Assoc Analyst your functions would consist of:

-Prepare and update weekly sales results and performance presentations.

-Analyze volume, net revenue, and other key performance drivers.

-Maintain promotional and settlement files across LCL banners.

-Reconcile customer deductions by matching transactions with supporting promotional information.

-Perform periodic true-up reconciliations using scanned sales and promotional data.

-Consolidate information from Mosaic, TPM, Power BI and Excel.

-Validate data accuracy, investigate variances, and resolve reporting discrepancies.

-Communicate results, risks, pending items, and actionable insights to Sales and Stakeholders.

-Maintain clear process documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

-Complete recurring deliverables accurately and within established deadlines.

Qualifications

Experience

-Experience managing a P&L

-Ability to work well cross-functionally

-1+ years of experience in finance and planning

-Experience in financial analysis, data integrity maintenance and ERP systems

-Power BI knowledge

-Strong excel skills

-Able to work independently and take initiative

-Capable of managing multiple time sensitive priorities simultaneously

-Detail-oriented; organized in approach with high degree of accuracy

-Ability to function well in a team environment

-Consistently shows urgency, courtesy and patience

-Exceptional communication skills. Proficiency in English language

-Highly organized and responsive, with ability to deliver against tight deadlines
