Client Informatics Analytics Advisor – National Accounts:
Overview:
At Cigna Healthcare, our Client Informatics team delivers data-driven insights that help employers make informed decisions about the health, wellbeing, and engagement of their workforce. Through advanced analytics, strategic consultation, and actionable recommendations, we partner with clients to maximize the value of their healthcare investments and improve outcomes.
You will serve as a trusted analytics consultant for large, complex National Account clients. Working closely with Account Executives, Client Managers, Clinical Consultants, and cross-functional business partners, you will transform healthcare data into meaningful insights that influence client strategy, identify opportunities for improvement, and demonstrate the value of Cigna's solutions.
This highly visible, client-facing role requires a blend of analytical expertise, business acumen, consultative skills, and executive-level communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Analytics & Insight Development
- Analyze healthcare cost, utilization, trend, and engagement data to identify actionable opportunities and risks.
- Conduct complex ad hoc analyses by synthesizing large datasets into clear, meaningful business insights.
- Evaluate the effectiveness and return on investment of Cigna programs, clinical initiatives, and engagement solutions.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, benefit optimization strategies, and population health improvement initiatives.
- Perform network and utilization analyses to support client decision-making.
Strategic Client Consulting
- Translate analytical findings into recommendations that support client business objectives and healthcare strategies.
- Partner with account teams to develop and validate client engagement plans and growth opportunities.
- Provide analytics expertise that demonstrates the value of Cigna products, services, and programs.
- Build trusted relationships with key client stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers.
- Identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities and communicate recommendations to internal leadership.
Client Communications & Stakeholder Partnership
- Present analytical findings, insights, and recommendations to client leadership and executive audiences.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and internal consultant for account teams, clients, and external consultants.
- Collaborate closely with sales, account management, clinical, and operational partners to develop client strategies.
- Support client meetings by providing data-driven insights and consultative guidance.
Analytics Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities, analytical processes, and forecasting methodologies.
- Support strategic projects and product initiatives requiring informatics expertise.
- Contribute to the development of best practices in healthcare analytics and client reporting.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:
Required
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, business analytics, consulting, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting healthcare, financial, operational, or population health data.
- Proven ability to develop insights and recommendations that drive business outcomes.
- Experience presenting findings and recommendations to clients, leadership teams, or executive stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships.
- Experience partnering with and influencing cross-functional teams.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Critical Thinking
- Experience working with healthcare claims, utilization, population health, or employer-sponsored health plans.
- Knowledge of healthcare cost drivers, network strategies, and benefit design.
- Experience with advanced analytics, forecasting, and data visualization tools
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 98,200 - 163,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
