The Governance team primary role is to ensure adequate governance is in place within the Global AML Center to support the effectiveness of Corporate Programs / Policies, minimizing regulatory, monetary and reputational risks for the team and the team's service recipients.

Outsourcing Governance

Tasked with coordinating the team’s governance requirements related to outsourcing. Working closely with the Reporting Specialists to deliver periodic reporting to Service Recipients.

What you will be responsible for

The Governance Manager - Outsourcing will

• Equip the team with subject matter expertise on governance practices to satisfy outsourcing obligations.

• Support Outsourcing Engagement Managers with due diligence requests / site visit coordination / risk assessments.

• Lead the periodic review process for all outsourced arrangements to which the team are party to.

• Coordinate and host Service Review Meetings for Service Recipients.

• Consult with appropriate AML Center specialists to ensure procedures & controls are developed where necessary to adhere to corporate Programs, Policies, Standards.

• Develop / update Governance Team procedures / guidance notes / controls in accordance with standards, technology and operating model changes.

• Promote adherence to standard operating procedures and controls.

• Coordinate and oversee various administrative responsibilities and tasks for the team.

• Follow the speak up, listen up values - including timely escalation of AML concerns, suspicious activity or any corporate policy breaches

• Notify local management of operational issues

• Attend and participate in AML awareness training sessions to continue to enhance the quality of deliverables

• Support ad hoc and/ or strategic projects as required.

• Monitor the team against the output of the workload schedule on a periodic basis.

• Act as a Governance subject matter expert; providing technical expertise and guidance to all Governance team members as needed.

• Collaborate and lead conversations with key stakeholders with regards to the execution and accurate tracking of key deliverables from the Global AML Center.

• Providing support to the Governance Manager / Head of Governance if required.

• Act as deputy to the Governance Manager in their absence.

• Demonstrate commitment to AML risk excellence through the provision of ancillary tasks that support the firms know your customer due diligence.

• Maintain role-specific knowledge of the current anti-money laundering and financial crime risks and issues through completion of the annual AML Academy, and any other financial crime training deemed applicable to the role.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

•Relevant professional experience demonstrating strong governance, coordination, organizational, and stakeholder-management capabilities

•Experience supporting structured processes, controls, reporting, documentation, or oversight activities

•Ability to work effectively across functions, manage multiple deliverables, and escalate risks or issues appropriately

•Experience in a regulated, international, or operational environment would be advantageous

•Previous AML, KYC, financial crime, or financial-services experience is desirable but not essential

Note: The role requires a minimum of 3 days per week working from the office

 

Minimum Salary:​

zł132 000 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
