Description
Construction Superintendent | GC
Denver, CO
If you know how to run a jobsite, manage subcontractors, keep multiple scopes moving, and hold the team accountable without creating chaos, this is an opportunity to take the lead on a major ground-up project.
We're looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent who can step in immediately, take ownership of field operations, and drive the project successfully through completion.
Why Work With Us
- Immediate start
- Ground-up, multi-scope construction project
- Contract Opportunity | Project expected to run through April 2027
- High level of ownership over field execution
- Work across both administrative and hangar construction
- Federal project exposure
- Opportunity to lead a project from active construction through completion
This is a project-based opportunity with an anticipated completion in April 2027, so we're looking for someone comfortable with the short-term nature of the assignment.
The Project
You'll lead field operations on a ground-up Corrosion Control Facility supporting a federal client.
The project includes:
- Ground-up construction
- Administrative space
- Hangar space
- Multiple subcontracted scopes
- Mechanical, electrical and specialty systems
- Coordination across multiple trades
- Federal construction requirements
What You'll Be Doing
This is a GC environment where trade work is subcontracted, so we're looking for someone who is strong at managing subs, coordinating scopes and keeping the entire job moving forward.
You'll:
- Lead day-to-day field operations
- Manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades
- Drive the project schedule and maintain jobsite productivity
- Coordinate sequencing between trades
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure work is being installed correctly
- Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate upcoming priorities
- Identify field conflicts early and drive solutions
- Coordinate closely with Project Management and Quality Control
- Maintain a safe, organized and productive jobsite
- Track progress and hold subcontractors accountable to schedule and quality expectations
- Coordinate inspections and project requirements
- Help drive the project through punch list, closeout and turnover
What You Bring
- Strong commercial construction Superintendent experience
- Experience leading ground-up, multi-scope construction projects
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Experience coordinating structural, architectural and MEP scopes
- Strong field leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to hold subcontractors accountable while maintaining productive relationships
- Organized, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of the jobsite
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented leadership style
- Federal construction experience is a plus, but NOT required
- USACE / Army Corps of Engineers experience is a plus
We're looking for someone who understands that a strong Superintendent isn't there to self-perform the work. You're there to set the pace, coordinate the moving pieces, stay ahead of problems and make sure every subcontractor knows what needs to happen next.
Because this work is performed in a federal environment, candidates must be able to meet applicable project access and screening requirements, including a favorable background and drug screening.
To Apply
If you're a strong Superintendent who can take control of a multi-scope jobsite, manage subcontractors and drive a project through completion, I'd like to talk.
Talk soon,
