We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health and Benefits team at Marsh. This role will be based in Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This is a client-facing account executive role with real scope to make an impact. You will support a portfolio of small to medium clients across Australia, providing advice on group life and salary continuance insurance from strategy and new business through to day-to-day account management.
The role offers the opportunity to build trusted relationships, work across interesting client needs and contribute to outcomes that genuinely matter. You will be supported by a team that values collaboration, professional growth and practical problem-solving.
We will count on you to:
- Provide trusted consulting advice on group life and salary continuance insurance to a portfolio of SME clients
- Work closely with the placement team on renewal and placement activity, including insurer negotiations, policy documentation and client reporting
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within your portfolio, introducing relevant products and services to deepen client relationships
- Collaborate with specialists across the business to manage complex client needs and support seamless service delivery
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and insurers, acting as a trusted point of contact
- Maintain accurate client records and uphold compliance standards across all account activity
What you need to have:
- Excellent client relationship skills, with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a client service, insurance or financial services environment
- Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to turn complex information into clear, practical advice
- High attention to detail in policy documentation, reporting and record keeping
