Job Title: Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist (Radiology & CT Tech)
Job Summary: We are seeking a versatile and experienced Multi-Modality Technologist to perform specialized diagnostic imaging across Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT). In this role, you will operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment, position patients safely, and acquire high-quality diagnostic radiographs and CT scans for pediatric through geriatric populations across routine, portable, and surgical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Radiography & CT Scans: Set up and operate diagnostic X-ray and CT equipment to acquire precise images for pathologic evaluation; perform routine, emergency, and surgical imaging.
- Surgical & Portable Imaging: Operate C-arms in surgical suites and execute portable X-ray exams across hospital units.
- Patient Care & IV Placement: Position patients comfortably, deliver age-appropriate care (pediatric to geriatric), and perform IV placements for contrast administration as required.
- Fluoroscopy & Advanced Systems: Conduct fluoroscopy procedures, utilize Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), and enter clinical data accurately into the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Equipment Maintenance & Safety: Maintain imaging rooms, adhere to strict radiation safety protocols, and ensure proper sterilization and care of diagnostic equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital experience in Diagnostic Radiography and CT [Required].
- Certifications: Active ARRT (CT) certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) [Required].
- Licensure: Active State Medical Imaging / Radiation Therapy License [Required].
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in CT, C-Arm operation, Fluoroscopy, PACS, RIS, and IV insertion [Required].
- Travel Background: At least 6 months of prior travel experience [Highly Preferred].
