Industrial Inside Sales Representative

As an Industrial Industrial Inside Sales Representative at Crescent Electric, you will be assist customers with quotations, cost negotiation, order entry, order expediting, and follow-up. In this role, you will ensure that Crescent customers receive a consistently pleasant experience with the Industrial Sales Center.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Sell products and services to meet customer needs and grow market share.
• Promptly and efficiently handle internal and external customer requests received by phone, fax, chat, and email to ensure a consistent and pleasant sales/support experience.
• Utilize the Crescent Eclipse, vendor extranets, vendor catalogs, and the World Wide Web to provide quotations, cost procurement, order entry, order expediting, follow-up, cross referencing, and general customer service.
• Ensure accurate capture of customer data into Salesforce.com, i.e., contact information, account information, case follow up, sales opportunities.
• Provide level 1 technical support for internal and external customers within the Industrial Sales territory, i.e., project work, cross referencing, and troubleshooting.
• Know and communicate Crescent’s Value Added Services to help meet customer needs.
• Participate in continued education for products and services from strategic Industrial Sales vendors.
• Act as a liaison between sales engineers and customers.
• Assist in driving attendance for our training and technical seminars.
• Proactive outbound calls to sales engineers.
• Assist in maintaining a current Sales Center Reference Library.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous inside sales experience required. Knowledge of electrical distribution processes and procedures required. Industry working experience with automation a must.
