Work Arrangement: This full-time role has the potential for a hybrid schedule with an expectation of 3 days per week working on-site in Glastonbury, CT, with flexibility for remote work with manager approval.
The ICHRA Account Manager serves as the dedicated post-sale project manager and long-term relationship owner for clients with ICHRA solutions (Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement). This role ensures smooth onboarding, technical integrations, and ongoing program success. Acting as the primary liaison between employers, carriers, enrollment partners, and technology vendors, the Account Manager is responsible for operational excellence, compliance, and client satisfaction. The position blends project management, benefits administration expertise, and account management to deliver a consistent, high-quality ICHRA experience from implementation through renewal.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the account manager for assigned ICHRA clients, from onboarding through renewal.
- Deliver a timely onboarding experience that meets/exceeds internal standards and builds client confidence.
- Coordinate with employers, carriers, vendors, and internal partners to ensure operational success.
- Manage premium reimbursements, reconciliations, and employer reporting.
- Proactively identify and resolve client and operational issues.
- Conduct renewal reviews and update cost-savings analyses as employer demographics and markets change.
- Ensure compliance with ACA and ICHRA regulations.
- Track adoption, engagement, and program performance metrics.
- Provide best practices, benchmarks, and ongoing education to maximize employer satisfaction and retention.
- Build strong client relationships that lead to retention, referrals, and expanded opportunities.
- Partner with Risk Advisor to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Advocate for client needs and continuous service improvement in ICHRA delivery.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the ICHRA practice.
- Stay current on ICHRA trends, regulations, and market.
- Maintain accurate documentation and activity records in agency systems.
- Ensure compliance with agency processes, confidentiality standards, and quality metrics.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training to strengthen skills, knowledge, and effectiveness.
- Effectively use MS Office, standard office applications, and other technologies.
- Skillfully use AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to aid work and efficiency.
- Work effectively with all team members, provide backup support, and contribute to team collaboration.
- Demonstrate alignment with our purpose, values, and culture.

Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in employee benefits account management, implementation, benefits administration, or a related field.
- Active Life & Health license in good standing.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation
The estimated base salary range for this position ranges from $63,600 - $100,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. The hiring range represents the Company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Qualifying positions will also be eligible for comprehensive benefits, such as participation in family medical and dental insurance programs, 401K plan, PTO, licensing, and continuing education reimbursement.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without Company sponsorship.
