MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
• 7–10 years of Sales / Business Development experience in Fund Administration, Fund Accounting, Wealth/Private Banking, Custody, Institutional Broking, or related financial services.
• Proven track record of acquiring Fund Managers (PE/VC/Hedge Funds), Family Offices & Institutional Investors, with a strong existing network across the Indian financial ecosystem.
• Strong relationship-led sales experience with Priority Banking RMs, Private Bankers, FI Sales, Sponsor Coverage, Law/Accounting Firms, and ability to independently manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our clients provides services fund administration, fund accounting, investor onboarding, and regulatory compliance services to Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and their managers across India, GIFT City, the UAE, Singapore, and Mauritius.
JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drive end-to-end sales and business development for Fund Administration, Fund
• Accounting, and corporate/allied services (fund and SPV setup, compliance, secretarial,
• and related services).
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients – Fund Managers (PE, VC,
• Hedge Funds), Family Offices, and Institutional Investors – primarily across India, with
• additional coverage of Singapore and UAE.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key intermediaries and referral sources, including
• Priority Banking Relationship Managers, Private Bankers, FI Sales teams, Sponsor
• Coverage teams, Law firms, Accounting Firms etc.
• Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, proposal development, commercial
• negotiation, and deal closure.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to build
• brand visibility and generate leads.
• Work closely with operations and delivery teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and a
• strong handover post-sale.
• Maintain accurate CRM/sales MIS, forecast revenue, and provide regular reporting to
• leadership.
• Contribute to the go-to-market strategy for India and cross-border markets (Singapore,
• UAE).
• Consistently achieve or exceed annual revenue and new client acquisition targets.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
• 7–10 years of sales and business development experience, ideally within fund
• administration, fund accounting, custody, wealth/private banking, institutional broking, or
• related financial/corporate services.
• Demonstrated track record of selling into Fund Managers, Family Offices, and Institutional
• Investors.
• Prior experience in a relationship-led sales role such as Priority Banking RM, Private
• Banker, FI Sales, or Sponsor Coverage is strongly preferred.
• Established network within the PE/VC, Family Office, and institutional investor ecosystem
• in India; familiarity with Singapore and/or UAE markets is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or CA qualification preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage
• confidently with senior stakeholders.
• Self-driven and entrepreneurial, comfortable operating in a target-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel within India and internationally (Singapore, UAE) as required.
