Job Description

As a Security Officer Graveyard High Rise Building in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls/High Rises, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and high rise location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with professionalism. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and retail patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, vendor, and delivery procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
