ICF Next is one of Europe’s leading integrated communication agencies, specialising in large-scale campaigns for institutional clients across the European Union.
We are looking for a Media Officer who will support the planning, coordination, implementation and quality control of communication activities across a portfolio of EU institutional projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the delivery of communication projects and integrated communication campaigns across social media, influencer marketing, media relations, stakeholder engagement and outreach activities.
- Assist in identifying and engaging journalists, stakeholders, organisations, content creators, influencers and digital communities across EU markets.
- Maintain and regularly update media lists, stakeholder databases, influencer mappings and outreach trackers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Support the preparation and coordination of outreach activities, including briefing materials, contact management, follow-up actions and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Assist with social media management activities, including content scheduling, publication, platform monitoring and community management.
- Support the drafting, review and quality assurance of communication materials, including social media content, outreach materials, press releases, media advisories, stakeholder updates and influencer briefs.
- Monitor media coverage, campaign performance, stakeholder engagement and online conversations, identifying relevant insights, trends and potential issues.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, dashboards, analyses and client presentations, ensuring data accuracy and consistency of deliverables.
- Support paid social media and digital amplification activities through audience research, asset coordination and performance monitoring.
- Assist in the organisation and delivery of press events, media briefings, interviews, influencer activations and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Conduct research on media landscapes, stakeholder ecosystems, digital trends and communication best practices across European markets.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams, suppliers and external partners to ensure deliverables are produced on time and to the required standard.
- Apply rigorous quality control to all outputs, ensuring accuracy, consistency, compliance with project requirements and adherence to EU institutional communication guidelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools and ways of working that support delivery excellence.
