Job Overview
This role provides administrative support to the Custom Equipment/Continuous Improvement department and assists the Director of Engineering. In this position you will assist with the administrative duties such as coordination of meetings, department projects, purchase requisitions and department events through coordination, preparation and teamwork.
Highlights of your role
- GENERAL - Attend department meetings and accurately record and distribute meeting minutes. Support any administrative needs for all members of the department. Reconcile CEPG department credit card activity; turn in receipts and payments requests to Corporate. Coordinate travel arrangements for the department and support other departments as needed. Create and enter purchase requisitions for equipment, components, tooling etc.
- DOCUMENTATION AND TRACKING - Generate reports and provide training in Time Tracking system. Provide, update and track department activities for projects, equipment and tasks that the CEPG department is responsible for. Track and update CEPG budget along with capital/PPT Equipment throughout the year.
- RELATIONSHIPS - Must have the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships. This individual interacts with many functional areas across the Marvin organization along with outside vendors in a professional manner. Assure proper customer service is provided to all facilities impacted by projects.
- COMMUNICATION - Strong, thorough and proactive communication is an expectation. Communication of meeting notes, status updates, department tracking, and change notices etc. are critical to helping create and maintain a team environment.
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- High school diploma/GED required
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other various miscellaneous programs along with the ability to produce professional correspondence
- Ability to work well independently and as a team member.
- Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- Possess an understanding of supply chain processes and workflow.
