Responsibilities

The Opportunity

The main purpose for this role will be:

 

-The Sourcing Sr. Analyst, will play an important role in managing the end-to-end strategic sourcing process, focusing on Request for Proposal (RFP), Auctions (reverse, Japanese, Dutch, etc.) and contract management. This position requires an experienced professional with strong analytical and procurement mindset, who fully understands procurement methodology. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with different teams ensuring activities are performed with a full understanding of PepsiCo policies.-This individual should also have the ability to run events in Ariba, and effectively gather, analyze, and communicate data by using data analytic tools such as Excel (advanced), PowerBI, PowerApps, Access, etc.-This candidate will continuously evaluate performance efficiency opportunities, to improve processes and reduce administrative burden and waste.-The role will lead the identification and prioritization of sourcing and value opportunities across NA Facilities, together with the category manager by leveraging advanced analytics, procurement expertise, and cross-functional collaboration.-This role is responsible for translating complex data into actionable insights, influencing sourcing strategies, and driving decision-making with key stakeholders to maximize value creation, improve compliance, and enhance procurement performance.-This role operates in a highly complex and evolving environment, requiring the integration of multiple data sources (e.g., spend, PO, invoices, supplier data) to identify and quantify white space opportunities. A key challenge is the lack of standardized data structures and varying levels of data quality across systems, which requires strong analytical capabilities and critical thinking.

 

Your Impact

As Global Proc Sr Analyst your responsibilities would consist of:

  • 1. RFX Management (Request For Information, Request For Proposal, Auctions, etc.)
  • Lead the execution of sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  •  Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, capacity, translating data insights into findings and hypothesis.
  • Conduct cost breakdown analysis to understand percentage of compressible vs. non-compressible spend, understand the cost buildup and major cost drivers by performing cost based price modeling.
  •  Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align sourcing activities with Procurement stakeholder.
  •  Manage the end-to-end RFP process, including the creation of Event´s documents, set up event in Ariba E-sourcing platform, supplier communication, and proposal evaluation.
  •  Analyze supplier responses and make recommendations, including cost, quality, service levels, innovation, etc.
  •  Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure RFP processes align with business needs.
  • Supplier´s management
  • Establish communication with suppliers as part of the procurement process for RFX & contracting (emails, calls)
  • Onboard suppliers on related documentation and systems in Ariba for RFX execution.
  • Follow -up on suppliers as needed.

b. Contract Management

  •  Oversee the contract lifecycle, from drafting and tracking to execution (new contracts and renewals).
  •  Understand PepsiCo Policies to be able to comply with legal and additional requirements in all contracts.
  •  Collaborate with legal teams to review, edit, and finalize contracts.
  • 2. Advanced insights & storytelling
  • Convert data outputs into clear business insights and recommendations
  • Build hypotheses (why gaps exist, what to do)
  • Lead executive-level storytelling (decks, QBRs, savings narratives)
  • 3. Stakeholder & decision leadership
  • Interface with category managers, finance, stakeholders
  • Challenge current status quo to help build sourcing strategies
  • Own recommendations on sourcing approach (RFP execution, project governance and structure)
  • 4. Continuous improvement & capability building
  • Identify automation opportunities (dashboards, white space tracking)
  • Standardize methodologies across hubs and partner with different teams to leverage best practices
  • Validate analysis, supplier selection logic
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies
  • Coach L07 on analytics, procurement logic

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce/business administration/industrial engineer/ or a related field

Experience

  • Advanced English level – speaking, reading, writing
  • Broad understanding of Global Procurement activities – 3 -5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in procurement software – Ariba Sourcing (RFI, RFP and auctions)
  • Knowledge of legal aspects related to contracts and procurement. 
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office programs specifically Excel (Advanced) and Access. Dexterity with other tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, etc. is a plus.
