M9 Solutions is seeking a Performance Tester to work remotely in support of a government contract for a client located in Washington, DC. An active Public Trust clearance is required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for performance testing and automation initiatives for teams and projects enterprise-wide.
- Evaluate and recommend testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of testing processes.
- Develop, implement, and maintain performance testing policies, frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance with organizational and security standards.
- Create, update, and manage training materials for performance testing and automation, ensuring they align with industry trends and organizational needs.
- Deliver ongoing coaching, mentoring, and training to cross-functional teams to enhance their ability to execute automation and performance testing, driving continuous quality improvement.
- Simulate hundreds/thousands of virtual users (Vusers).
- Capture KPIs like response time, throughput, error rate.
- Support different protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, web services, etc., depending on licensing).
- Provide analysis reports and graphs to identify bottlenecks.
- Administrative support for maintenance of testing infrastructure and tools, including ALM, LoadRunner Enterprise, UFT, etc.
- Performance testing SDLC executions, development of performance test Scripts, test plans, test executions, analysis, and reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required.
- An active Public Trust level clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university, preferred.
- Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience with LoadRunner Enterprise, 5 years with ALM and UFT, and software development preferred.
